About the role

This an important role in our growing Brisbane team with a readymade desk. You will be working closely with our Head of Business Development and our highly skilled BD team. You will be on the road 2 days

a week with the remainder of the week in office, shoulder to shoulder with the rest of our great Brisbane bunch.

 

The responsibilities in this role are as follows:

  • Developing business development strategies to solve our clients challenges.
  • Maintain our existing business and our long established National relationships.
  • Building lasting client relationships, so you get repeat business across white and blue collar jobs.
  • Client networking through attending events to build your industry connections. Diggers and Dealers is a personal favourite of ours.
  • Working closely with the recruitment team to ensure every role is filled and find the BEST people for our clients.
  • Exposure to the Steel industry advantageous but not necessary.
  • Deliver 180 business support and consultation in the Aston way.

 

About you

This role is for a team player who likes to be at the helm of driving business and great roles for great candidates. You want to work with some of the best Technology for Business Development and Recruitment, we have it here. 

 

The successful Aston BDM will be aspiring for or have the following:

  • Experience in a BDM role, Account Management and/or Senior Recruiter position.
  • Motivated to grow new business relationships and add further value to our existing clients.
  • Love your clients and continue to work with them to develop their businesses.
  • Be able to consult with your clients to ensure we are recruiting quality jobs to find quality people.
  • You want to know how your client’s business works, their challenges and business needs from their viewpoint.
  • You are determined to support customers with tailored business solutions for both the business and our chosen candidates.
  • A desire to learn our Aston way of business in the way we engage and support our teams and customers.
  • Must have Australian working rights.
